Hundreds of hours were spent precisely measuring surviving le.S.P.W. (Sd.Kfz.250) and the associated components and over a thousand hour were spent in creating detailed as-built drawings of the four different Grundfahrzeuge as well as the Sd.Kfz.250/1, 250/3, 250/5, 250/8, 250/9, and 250/10. Drawings of some components and weapons have been included to reveal details normally hidden in four-view drawings and photographs.
