A description of the operational history of the new I/JG 3 "Udet" which was formed in the beginning of 1942, then served a tough and costly tour of duty in the Defense of the Reich and over the Western Front before seeing several weeks of desperate defensive action in the east of the Reich. 400pp. over 350 photos & line drawings.
