Stephane Cazenave Great account of a unit within the 10th SS Panzerdivision "Frundsberg" The armoured reconnaissance battalion. Contains 200 photos which include a few photos of the Spahwagen, and SdKfz 250/251 which are published for the first time. During 1944/45 the unit served in Russia, Normandy and N.W. Europe. The author has also compiled detailed lists showing the members of each company and provides detailed biographies of each of the officers who served and fought, with particular attention being given to those who received top awards such as the RK and the DKiG. Two units in particular are singled out for special treatment: Erich Rech's Spahtrupp (uniquely Rech received the RK for the action of this unit in Normandy), his Panzerfahrer and the Panzerchef support armored vehicles.
